Work meetings are often the place where you will eat a lot of the wrong things. You’re trapped in a room with a lot of pastries on the table. If you’re tired or bored, you will be tempted to eat whatever is offered, which won’t be good.To reduce the chance of this happening, you need to have a small snack 10 minutes before the meeting begins. Then refuel with something healthy after.
Drink more water throughout the day !
Drinks may be the biggest sources of calories. Whether these are sodas or too many coffee cups loaded with sugar and cream, the effect on your calorie total may be massive. Water is always a safer beverage. Have a bottle of water at your desk at all times. You will remain hydrated, focused, alert, and won’t fall into the trap of drinking too many calories. Don’t sacrifice your calories for a quick sugar rush !

If you plan your meals and prep on Sunday’s you are ready for the day and week ahead. Learn to cook in bulk and get used to packing your lunch with you. Eat healthy food and your body will thank you. Not to mention you will be more focused because your stomach isn’t growling !!

Choose good people that have common goals and have similar lifestyles. The place where you go to eat lunch will often be determined by who you eat with. Some people are junk food fans and others prefer the salad bar. Who are you going to have lunch with?You need to choose the right people to eat with. If those colleagues who are closest to you like their burgers and fries at lunch, you may need to socialize with them after hours. Don’t let anyone ruin your diet regimen.
Don’t eat at your desk. Take a break !
Eating at your desk is a recipe for disaster. It’s the perfect scenario for mindless eating and consuming too much food without even being aware of it. You need to be focused on your food so you’ll be in control over how much you’re eating. This is why you need to get away from your desk and computer and eat somewhere else. Even if you have healthy snacks at your desk, make sure to not eat them while doing actual work.
